The arts and health programme for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
Make Your Mark delivers and supports a range of arts-based participatory learning opportunities for service users, staff and carers. The programme aims to use the arts to make a difference to individuals, groups and communities, integrating creativity into the fabric of healthcare and creating new possibilities for health and wellbeing within our communities.
Make Your Mark is delighted to have launched a new project, A Year of Drawing, with thanks to funding from Heads On (Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's charity) through generous funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and grants from Chalk Cliff Trust, John Horniman's Children's Trust, Rockinghorse Children's Charity and the Dixie Rose Findlay Charitable Trust. A Year of Drawing is a year-long project commencing in autumn 2017 that aims to increase access to the arts for people facing mental health challenges and their carers through participatory drawing events.
